Bridgeport Clamping Table Eliminates Need for Removing Vise

A new accessory for Bridgeport-type milling machines that fits right over the vise and provides a fast and effective clamping surface for flat work is being introduced by Harvard Products, Inc. of Harvard, Massachusetts.

The Harvard Vise Topper is a table that fits right over a vise to hold plate work which is generally worked using a hold-down set or clamp kits. Eliminating the need to disassemble and remove a vise, this fully adjustable table comes with posts that bolt directly onto the machine table and is offered in three standard sizes: 12" x 12", 12" x 19", and 12" x 24".

Featuring 10 mounting holes for the posts, five on each side that provide ±5" adjustability on the Y-axis to allow easy setup for irregular parts, the Harvard Vise Topper is infinitely adjustable on the X-axis. Manufactured from 1" thick steel and Blanchard ground on all six sides, it has 3/8-16 TPI tapped holes on 2" centers.

The Harvard Vise Topper is priced from $395 (list). Literature is available upon request.
