Reliable Power Meters Offers New 200A Clamp-On CT to Facilitate Power Quality Monitoring of Factory and Office Distribution Wiring
Los Gatos, Calif.-December 6, 2002- Reliable Power Meters (RPM), a major supplier of power monitoring hardware and software, has expanded its product accessories portfolio to include a 200A clamp-on current transformer (CT), ideal for measuring current commonly found in factory and office distribution wiring. The new 200A CT provides excellent frequency response of up to 10 kHz, making it ideal for the measurement of harmonics. The accuracy of the 200A probe is 1% of reading and can accommodate cables up to ¾" in diameter. This addition to RPM's product portfolio expands the range and flexibility of current transformers available for the company's award-winning Portable Power Recorder and its permanently installed Multipoint Power Recorder (except 3586).
Reliable Power Meters offers a full line of clamp-on CTs ranging from 5-500A, including flexible and split-core models. When connected to the Portable Power Recorder, the CT's range is automatically sensed, eliminating the need for setup. In addition, the probe has a built-in load to eliminate possible shock hazard if left unconnected.
