CitectSCADA Reports the New Name for Citect Plant2Business

Sydney, Australia - Citect, one of the world's largest, independent real-time intelligence software companies, today announced a product name change from "Plant2Business" to "CitectSCADA Reports". Under the rebranding, the brand name and aesthetics change as well as the licensing.
The new name makes it easier for Citect customers to understand what the product does - that is, it is an easy-to-use reporting tool that collects, historizes and reports data from multiple disparate systems throughout the plant, allowing better production reporting.
General Manager of CitectSCADA, Stephen Flannigan explained, "The change in licensing is based on customer feedback and is designed to make it easier for our customers to benefit from the product. For example, customers wishing to start by only using the data transfer functions, and/or viewing data from multiple systems can now do so at a fraction of the price."
Through CitectSCADA Reports, data from different sources including SCADA systems, Oracle and SQL databases are combined, compared, logged and distributed as historical and real-time information to a wide range of business applications. Citect is continuing to invest heavily in the development of CitectSCADA Reports, that will significantly improve both the functionality and benefits customers will experience. New versions of CitectSCADA Reports will be announced early next year.
