Circular Plastic Connector Ethernet Enabled
HARRISBURG, Pa. - Dec. 29, 2006 - The AMP Circular Plastic Connector (CPC) product line from Tyco Electronics Corporation has expanded with the introduction of the Series 45 Ethernet connector. The Series 45 Ethernet connector accepts RJ45 inserts for Ethernet communication applications. With rugged shells, housings and receptacles, and IP67 sealing performance, the Series 45 Ethernet connector is well suited for industrial machinery, diagnostics equipment, printers and other applications in locations where ruggedization and environmental sealing are necessary.
Series 45 Ethernet connectors are designed for Category 5 and 5e cable. A positive lock coupling helps provide reliable connections, and a protective cap can be used to cover receptacles when not in use. Pass-through assemblies, field-installable receptacles, and unshielded product options are also available.
This product is RoHS compliant.
