Lyndex's New Bull's Eye Chucks Are On Target for Zero Run-Out

Mundelein, IL (August 16, 2002) - The TIR of Lyndex's new Bull's Eye Chucks can be easily adjusted to zero at the cutting tool tip in less than minute. The adjustability of Lyndex's Bull's Eye Chuck produces longer tool life, improved part accuracy and better surface finish.

With conventional collet chucks, even if the run-out accuracy at the toolholder's nose is as small as one micron, there may be much greater run-out at the cutting edge.

Adjustment of the Bull's Eye Chuck can be easily performed either off line or on the machine's spindle.

Lyndex's Bull's Eye Chuck utilizes their new LSK collets, which are able to accommodate tools from 0.03" to 1". Chucks are available in CT, BT and HSK tapers, and coolant systems allow for coolant-thru the tool or coolant along the cutting tool's shank.
