Chip Resetter For Epson C70 & C80 Cartridges Released By Repeat-O-Type
Dateline - Wayne, NJ, June 12, 2002 - Refilling of cartridges used in Epson Stylus C70 and C80 printers is now possible by using the latest electronic reset device offered by Repeat-O-Type Manufacturing Corporation. The "lock-out" chips on the cartridges can be reset to read "full" by simply joining the contacts on the resetter with those on the smart chip for six seconds.
Fred Keen, Repeat-O-Type's Director of Sales and Marketing, says that the resetters include five-year-life batteries that are capable of resetting hundreds of cartridges. The resetters are suitable for use by rechargers and end users wishing to reduce their printing costs.
Repeat-O-Type also manufactures pigment based, UV resistant inks needed to refill the C70 and C80 cartridges. They are currently available in pints, gallons and drums. Keen says do-it-yourself refill kits for owners of C70 and C80 printers will be available shortly.
