Barrett Division Introduces New 601 VersaFuge
Kine-Spin/Barrett Division of Kinefac introduces the 601 Versafuge designed for fluid cleaning, chip wringing, sludge drying, parts cleaning and washing and drying. This new centrifuge provides a cleaning force of 350 Gs giving the small parts manufacturer, screw machine shop or similar production operation a range of fluid reclamation and part cleaning capabilities never available before in a single machine of this size. Its 10 gallon bowl provides a cost effective fluid reclamation for process lubrication and cooling systems. For batch fluid reclamation the VersaFuge has a chip or swarf handling capacity of 130 pounds per load. The Versafuge has touch screen control, an out of balance safety system, a new safety lid latch and optional hoist and bucket dump units. Using standard chip pans and dollies for batch, fluid or parts cleaning operations, a Versafuge based system is easily integrated into any shop without need for an overhead crane. It is small enough to be placed near the production operation it supports. This allows the production equipment operators to load and unload the Versafuge with minimal diversion from their primary tasks. To take full advantage of Versafuge capabilities, Barrett application engineering is available and the Kine-Spin Barrett Division can provide any part racks, special bowls, baskets, heaters, pumps and tankage or other ancillary devices that may be required. In addition, Kinefac can provide application validation by laboratory tests at its facility.
