Centrifugal Pumps provide leak-free operation.

Press Release Summary:

Based upon canned motor technology, ANSI B73.3-compliant Dynapump(TM) LE Series allows users to make switch from sealed to sealless in under 1 hr. Standard features such as secondary containment and bearing wear monitoring minimizes maintenance. Constructed of corrosion-resistant stainless steel, plug-and-play pumps eanble plants to exceed industry standards for environmental, personnel, and facility safety.

New Dynapump(TM) LE Series Delivers Reliable, Leak-free Performance at Low Costs

Teikoku USA To Launch Industry's Most Affordable, Efficient Plug-and-Play Pumps
New Dynapump(TM) LE Series delivers reliable, leak-free performance at low costs

WARMINSTER, PA, March 14, 2006 - Teikoku USA Inc. and its Chempump division, a leading manufacturer and developer of canned motor pumps, announces that they are now taking orders for their new Dynapump(TM) LE Series of sealless, canned motor pumps, which will be available in the second quarter of 2006. Built upon the company's proven canned motor technology and its core competency of strong electric motor design innovation, the Dynapump LE combines state-of-the-art design with global manufacturing efficiencies to provide above-market reliability, secondary containment, and bearing wear monitoring in an ANSI B73.3- compliant, plug-and-play sealless pump - at a price that makes it significantly more affordable than its peers.

"Our customers are under pressure to trim costs, improve efficiencies, and still meet the ever-increasing environmental demands for emissions-free pumping," noted Teikoku USA & Chempump vice president Tom Conroy. "We listened carefully to their feedback and designed a pump that is less costly to purchase, operate, and maintain, and that is more reliable, feature-packed, and available than they could ever expect at this price before."

The ANSI B73.3-compliant Dynapump LE allows users to make the switch from sealed to sealless in under an hour. In addition, it delivers all the technical and rotordynamic advantages of more expensive canned motor pump counterparts. Its performance exceeds even that available by purchasing add-ons and accessories for magnetic drives, and double mechanical seal pumps.

Standard Dynapump LE features such as secondary containment and bearing wear monitoring make maintenance less frequent and more predictive. Its sealless centrifugal pump enables plants to exceed industry standards for environmental, personnel, and facility safety. Also, because the pump takes up less space and requires less maintenance than comparable products, specifying Dynapump LE means lower costs for users, both initially and in the long term.

To support demand for the product, Teikoku USA has developed a just-in-time order fulfillment process based around manufacture and assembly of the Dynapump LE through its U.S. Chempump division manufacturing facilities. This allows orders to be received and processed, and pumps to be delivered, more quickly than current industry standards for similar products, further reducing lead times between purchase and installation.

According to Conroy, the feedback received so far for the DynapumpLE design has been "very positive," especially for its ease of installation and maintenance. "Experience with Teikoku USA's and Chempump's more engineered ANSI-compliant products have proven that our customers love the elimination of alignment and piping changes for the retrofit of ANSI pumps, so it makes sense bring this same design concept to the Dynapump range," he says.

The Dynapump LE Series canned motor pumps are manufactured with corrosion- resistant 316 stainless steel construction. Plans for Alloy 20 offerings are already underway for release in the near future.
