WebSphere® Voice Server (WVS) for Multiplatforms is software middleware that facilitates development and deployment of conversational, voice-enabled applications. IBM WebSphere Voice Server V5.1.3 Adds Support for IBM AIX 5L 5.3

WebSphere Voice Server V5.1.3 includes WebSphere Voice Server V5.1.3 and WebSphere Voice Server V4.2 for AIX, and provides the following new function:

Support for AIX 5L 5.3 (including LPAR)
Continued support for WebSphere Application Server infrastructure for a common administrative console throughout the enterprise, as well as for scalability and reliability
Continued support for the Microsoft Windows Server 2003 operating system
Continued support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux WS/ES/AS for Intel 3.0 and SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server 8.0 (SLES 8.0)

WebSphere® Voice Server (WVS) for Multiplatforms is a software middleware product that delivers breakthrough technology for quickly developing and deploying conversational solutions. Voice-enabled applications can give your customers, employees, and suppliers greater access to information and services.

WVS supports industry standards such as Java(TM) and VoiceXML 2.0 and VoiceXML 2.1. IBM support for open standards can give you freedom from proprietary technology, enabling you to manage costs and application deployment schedules for your business.

WVS V5.1.3 includes support for the Media Resource Control Protocol (MRCP) and WVS V4.2 for AIX®. Version 5.1.3 delivers support for the following languages on Microsoft(TM) Windows(TM) Server 2003 Enterprise and Standard Editions, IBM AIX 5L(TM) 5.3 (including LPAR), Red Hat Enterprise Linux(TM) WS/ES/AS for Intel(TM) 3.0, and SLES 8.0:
