New Axiom(TM) Series Case Packer is 50% Faster and 30% Smaller

Alexandria, Minnesota - August 20, 2004 - The new Axiom(TM) Series from Douglas Machine Inc. has set a new standard for intermittent motion servo case packer performance with speeds up to 50 percent faster and footprints up to 30 percent smaller than other mechanical machines.

The Axiom(TM) Series, third generation servo design, contributes to greater line efficiency by dramatically enhancing changeover repeatability and simplifying fault detection and recovery. The innovative design also incorporates rugged stainless steel frames and nearly 50 percent fewer components resulting in reduced maintenance, fewer replacement parts, and less sanitation.

The servo case packer offers a variety of options including the patent-pending Velocity(TM) servo carton stacking system. The stacker operates at speeds to 600 cartons per minute and virtually eliminates product jams.

Axiom(TM) Series case packers are backed by Douglas' exclusive three (3) year limited warranty.
