Akro-Mils' New Galvanized High-End Narrow Aisle Cart Moves Efficiently Through Thick and Thin

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: AKRON, OH (April 2004) - Akro-Mils introduces the Galvanized High-End Narrow Aisle Cart, the ideal cart for efficient order-picking, material handling, and stocking where space is limited.

The slim design allows the cart to easily maneuver in tight places and its heavy-duty, durable construction holds up under the toughest conditions. The frames and handles are hot dipped galvanized with 100 percent coating inside and out. The 14-gauge decking is fastened to the frame with stainless steel rivets to prevent rust from ever taking hold. The two, 1" pipe handles extend 50-1/2" above the deck. They can be removed to alter load types or conserve space in storage.

Two centered, 8" moldon rubber rigid casters and four, 4" polyolefin swivel casters, one bolted in each corner, allow cart to turn within its own diagonal space. This enables the cart to handle with ease in any direction with a load capacity of 1,500 lbs. Deck sizes are 16" x 48", 16" x 60", 24" x 48", and 24" x 60". Deck height is 11" and overall height is 64-1/2".

The high-end narrow aisle cart ships fully assembled and ready to use. The unit is also available with a steel deck or a wood deck with a steel frame.
