Ultra-tough DataGuard(TM) Transport and Storage Case helps companies protect critical data
OAKDALE, Minn., Nov. 2 -- A company's data is its lifeblood. And as data storage tape cartridges move to capacities that will soon reach a full terabyte -- and beyond -- of corporate data on a single tape cartridge, the potential impact of a lost, stolen or damaged cartridge is magnified. That's why Imation (NYSE:IMN), a global leader in removable data storage, has introduced the first "terabyte-class" transport and storage case specifically designed to protect a company's high-capacity data storage tapes during transportation. Rugged and ultra durable, the Imation DataGuard(TM) Transport and Storage Case has been tested to outperform other leading storage cases, with two- to four-times the shock protection of other cases.
