Cardiac Science Deploys Powerheart(TM) AEDs in Anchorage, AK School District Entire School District Now Equipped with AEDs

BOTHELL, Wash., Nov. 8 -- Cardiac Science Corporation (NASDAQ:CSCX), a global leader in advanced cardiac monitoring and external defibrillation products, announced today that the Anchorage School District of Anchorage, Alaska has completed its deployment of Cardiac Science's Powerheart(TM) Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in all district facilities.
The Anchorage School District recently acquired 55 Powerheart AEDs for its schools that had not previously been outfitted with a Powerheart AED. This latest acquisition brings the total number of Cardiac Science AEDs in the district to 98. With the deployment complete, the Anchorage School District now has at least one AED in each district school, as well as in its administration facilities. The Anchorage School District is the largest school district in Alaska and 87th largest in the United States. It hosts 50,000 students and 5,500 staff for 93 schools, as well as thousands of parents and other visitors who use its facilities each year.
