New Bore Size Complements PHD's Series SxL/SxH Slide Offering



PHD has just released a new bore size for its Series SxL and SxH Cantilever Slides. Previously available in 8, 10, 14, 20, and 32 mm, Series SxL and SxH Slides are now also available in a bore size of 25 mm. These slides feature a compact design arid provide high load capacities, making them ideal for a wide range of applications.

Series SxH Slides feature precision-machined high capacity TC fluoropolymer composite bearings and are available in long travel lengths of up to 8 inches. Series SxL Slides feature self-lubricating polymer bearings and are available in travel lengths of up to 3 inches. Both versions incorporate twin switch slots for flush installation of PHD's Series 6790 Switches eliminating the need for expensive collars, brackets, and target kits. Units are available in imperial and metric versions to accommodate applications in worldwide markets.

Additional standard features include:

o High capacity internal and external shock pads to reduce noise and end-of-travel impact
o Low breakaway piston and rod seals
o Tapped and/or counterbored mounting holes in slide housing and tool plate with optional dowel holes for easy unit mounting and attachment of tooling
o Ships next day from receipt of order

Like other PHD products, Series SxH and SxL Slides are offered with a wide range of options to fit specific automation design requirements. Optional travel adjustment on extend equips the unit with stop collars and external shock pads for high speed cycling applications and easy adjustment of the extended tool plate position.
