Cancer Treatment Centers of America Chooses Digisonics Enterprise PACS and Structured Reporting


HOUSTON - The #1-ranked Digisonics CVIS and PACS solution, DigiView, was recently selected by Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Schaumburg, Ill. The enterprise system will be implemented at five CTCA locations across the United States in Illinois, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Oklahoma and Georgia.

The facilities will utilize the cardiovascular image management and structured reporting system's configurable clinical database, high-powered PACS and comprehensive structured reporting package for their echo and vascular studies. Full remote reading capabilities will be available via DigiNet Pro, a web-based application that provides secure access to the entire CVIS and PACS.

The Digisonics CVIS and PACS will be complemented by DataLink and HL7 interfaces to streamline connectivity between Digisonics and the CTCA's incumbent systems, improving overall workflow efficiency. DataLinks modules will automate transfer of patient biometry from the ultrasound machines directly into the Digisonics PACS and structured reporting system, significantly reducing manual data entry time. HL7 interfaces will connect the Digisonics CVIS and CTCA's EMR.
