MINNEAPOLIS, May 16, 2005 -- PPT VISION, Inc. (Nasdaq: PPTV) has introduced the IMPACT(tm) T23, an intelligent camera capable of acquiring and analyzing color images in real time for the purposes of 100% inspection of manufactured parts. The T23 is the latest addition to the IMPACT T-series intelligent camera family. Introduced in 2003, the IMPACT T-series is the industry's first intelligent camera family with all the features of a full-scale vision system built into the camera, delivering a Cost-effective alternative to high-end vision inspection systems.
As manufacturers increasingly seek to eliminate inconsistencies in package and product color, demand for real-time color vision systems is increasing. The IMPACT T23 is designed to perform complex color inspections by rejecting products which fall outside of a preset color range.
