Cambridge Heats Largest Indoor Soccer Facility

The Ultimate Soccer Arenas facility in Pontiac, MI is the largest, and most modern indoor arena of its kind in North America. There is nothing else like it. Everything is state-of-the-art, including their energy efficient Cambridge heating system designed for indoor sports facilities. This 267,000 square foot metal building, provides the ultimate indoor soccer experience for teams, coaches, players and their families.

In addition to first-rate fields, the stadium has over 2000 permanent seats for spectators. Over a million people visit the facility each year. Cambridge designed a new cost effective system that requires only a few, small vertical wall-mount units to heat all three buildings. These energy efficient direct gas-fired space heaters circulate the air, help improve indoor air quality and provide very even temperatures without stratification despite a 72' high peak ceiling. Best of all, natural gas usage was lower than expected. This can be attributed to the high performance Blow-Thru technology, proprietary Cambridge burner, 100% combustion efficiency and the highest BTU/CFM ratio for this type of equipment used for heating indoor sports facilities.
