High locking pressures are developed, yet unlocking is quickly accomplished by depressing an insulated, external button. There are no external metal parts and no tools needed to connect or disconnect. Both male and female connectors are protected by a shrouded style Taper nose insulating sleeve. The shrouded Taper Nose insulating jacket extends past both male and female contacts, for total insulation. Insulators are available in several colors for phase identification.
