Press Release Summary:
NCL multi-axis machining software featuring visual calculator that enables users to access standard functions of scientific calculator along with all other provided numeric and geometric functions. Single interface allows users to compute numeric equations, distances between geometric entities, angles between entities, and length of any entity. While users perform calculations, calculator builds formula that can be edited and saved for later reuse.

Multi-Axis Machining- Time-Saving Techniques for Multi-Axis Machining
Newport Beach, California -- June 28, 2007 -- NCCS, the developer of NCL multi-axis machining software for the aerospace, automotive and turbo machinery industry, introduces new enhancements for multi-axis machining within NCL with time-saving techniques thereby, increasing overall productivity.
New Visual Calculator
The newest version of NCL offers many new features including implementing a new visual calculator.
The ability to go beyond standard functions.
This feature enables users to have access to the standard functions that you would expect from a scientific calculator, in addition to, access to all numeric and geometric functions supported by NCL.
New functions in a single interface.
These added functions under a single interface allow the user to quickly compute numeric equations, distances between geometric entities, angles between entities, and the length of an entity among other features. An added benefit to this feature is that while the user performs the calculations, the calculator will build the formula that can be edited and saved for later.
According to David Schultz, NCCS Manager of CAD/CAM Applications, "To remain competitive among the many CAM software suppliers, we must continue our development towards more four- and five-axis machining methods for our users". NCL's latest enhancements give users time-saving techniques, along with the ability to quickly generate complex geometric entities, all within a single interface.
