Callidus Software Announces Availability of Industry-Leading On-Demand Solution in EMEA

LONDON, May 2 - New On-Demand Offerings and Expansion of Sales and Consulting Team Aim to Win New Business and Provide Superior Support for Existing Customers

Callidus Software, the leader in Sales Performance Management (SPM) and Enterprise Incentive Management (EIM), has expanded the offering of its industry leading on-demand solutions to the EMEA region. To meet growing demand, Callidus Software also ramped up its sales and consulting team for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) by adding industry experts who will focus on the finance, retail and telecommunications sectors, selling the companies' SPM and EIM products.

Jeffrey Saling, vice president of Callidus On-Demand, announced the expansion into EMEA together with full internationalization support of the offering as of May 1, 2007. "We see increased awareness and adoption of on-demand solutions and we are ready to serve the international community with our well tried and tested on-demand solutions," states Saling. "In the first year of operations the bookings for Callidus On-Demand have exceeded over US$10 Million. In this short time span, Callidus signed up over 8,500 subscribers in global organizations across multiple industries. Our prospective clients in EMEA can now benefit from the low-cost rapid deployment model that is proving so successful for us in the United States and that has been adopted by leading companies worldwide."

Andrew Armstrong, vice president and international general manager adds:
"With the European division of Callidus generating significant year on year growth, we are well placed to take the company forward and grow the market further in this key region.

We lead the SPM market in Europe and the expansion of on-demand offering, together with our expanded team in EMEA will help us further strengthen our position in this market. We have experienced strong, growing demand for our sales performance management solutions in Europe, as companies recognise they need to align their strategic business goals with their sales strategy.

Independent research shows the global EIM market is forecast to reach US$1,120 billion by 2010(1) and a significant portion of that growth will take place in Europe. Gartner states that 'Sales performance management represents the next generation of best practices for sales. It establishes a strong foundation for improving sales execution'(2)."
