Tyco Electronics Introduces High-Density Para-Optix(TM) Fiberoptic Cabling System
Harrisburg, PA, March 24, 2003 - Tyco Electronics recently introduced the new high density Para-Optix(TM) Cabling System. This system is based on an MPO-style connector with densities ranging
from 24 to 72 multimode fibers. Cable assemblies are available in lengths up to 500 meters, 50/125 and 62.5/125 fibers, with 1dB maximum insertion loss. They are also available as fan-outs with standard fiber optic connectors, as well as custom cable assemblies to meet customers' specifications.
The Tyco Electronics' Para-Optix cabling system is designed for the Tyco Electronics' high bandwidth Para-Optix(TM) Transceivers and other higher fiber applications. The Para-Optix cabling system is designed to work with standard MPO applications where higher channel count fibers are required.
