HALAR(R) Cable Ties Gain UL Listing
PANDUIT Corp. announces HALAR cable ties are now UL Listed, making them the first and only manufacturer with this distinction. This tie is available in standard or bulk packaging and two cross sections for bundle diameters up to 3-inches. It features a low density rating and excellent flammability rating (UL94V-0) and is "Suitable for Use In Air Handling Spaces" per NEC Sec. 300-22 (C) and (D). This statement along with the UL symbol now appear on package labels. HALAR cable ties are a commonly accepted solution for bundling qualified cables without conduit in air handling spaces and inspectors identify them by their distinctive maroon color.
