The expansion of the manufacturers MFC line is part of its aims to leverage the projected 7 per cent growth of inkjet MFP market by 2011. The event was attended by top Brother Gulf officials including Yuichi Tada, General Manager, Product Planning Department, Brother Industries, Ltd. and Isao Noji, General Manager, Sales & Marketing Department, Brother Industries, Ltd.; and representatives from the company's extensive network of distributors across the region.

The stylish and elegant new series consisting of DCP-J125, DCP-J315W, DCP-J715W, MFC-J220, MFC-J265W, MFC-J415W and MFC-J615W offers sophisticated designs and strengthened capabilities to print, fax, copy and scan, with wireless and wired network capabilities for easy sharing within the home and office. In addition to Brother's strength in reliability, the new inkjet MFCs are capable of printing directly from or sending scanned images and documents to Apple gadgets with the free Brother iPrint&Scan application.

Speaking at the launch, Yuichi Tada said, "We are proud to announce the launch of these new models, which are proof of the major emphasis Brother places on research and development to be able to provide innovative new technologies that continue to expand the horizon for the printing industry."

"Our new inkjet MFCs integrate colour printing, copying, faxing and scanning into space-saving packages perfect for confined home and workspace. We are confident that these innovative new additions to our existing range of MFCs will gain positive reviews from regional customers," said Isao Noji.

Equipped with the 'Direct Print' feature, the new MFCs offer consumers the convenience of printing directly using flash memory drives and media cards, without the use of a PC. Individual features of the latest models include 'PictBridge' and USB direct print functions that allow direct access to photos and printing borderless photos instantly (for DCP-J715W and MFC-J615W); wireless-capability to print anywhere within the house and office (for DCP-J315W, DCP-J715W, MFC-J265W, MFC-J415W and MFC-J615W); and Automatic Document Feeder (up to 15 sheets) that makes high-capacity copying and scanning a swift job (for DCP-J715W, MFC-J415W and MFC-J615W). Additional functions incorporated across the newly-launched MFCs are hassle-free installation via Brother's Secure Easy Setup, Super G3 33.6kbps fax modem that completes fax transmission in three seconds, 3.3" colour LCD display, and capacity to convert documents to text editing documents.

"We are always working to provide our customers with the highest quality printing solutions that can cater to all their requirements in terms of quality, performance, eco-friendliness and cost savings.
