Schiller Park, IL - Cellular 4G rollouts are happening now. Mobile Network Operators are using the established 850 & 1900 MHz bands but most are adding some combination of new bands as they move into 4G offerings: the 700 MHz band, 800 MHz band, AWS bands at 1.7 & 2.1 GHz or the WiMAX/LTE band at 2.5 GHz. New modems will be equipped to handle US cellular frequencies from 694 MHz to 2.7 GHz.
Antennas that cover only the 850 & 1900 MHz bands will not provide optimal performance on the new 4G Cellular bands. Mobile Mark's SMW-305 Multiband/Multi-cable Antenna combines multiple applications in the same antenna housing. This three-cable antenna covers GPS, WiFi and Cellular. The "cellular" cable is extremely broadbanded covering 694 - 894 MHz and 1.7 - 2.7 GHz.
