Broadband Amplifier meets aircraft testing standards.

Press Release Summary:

Self-contained, air-cooled, solid state Model 75A400 75 W amplifier spans frequency range from 10 kHz to 400 MHz. This makes it suitable for laboratory applications, antenna and component testing, plus commercial aircraft conducted susceptibility testing per DO-160D. Push-pull MOSFET circuitry lowers distortion, improves stability, and allows operation into any load impedance without damage.

New 75 Watt Broadband Amplifier Now Available for BCI Testing Per DO-160D

Souderton, PA-June 5, 2002 - Amplifier Research has expanded its line of portable broadband amplifiers with the Model 75A400, which spans the frequency range from 10 kHz to 400 MHz.

The Model 75A400 meets the need for a dependable, cost-efficient amplifier for conducted susceptibility testing per DO-160D. This commercial aircraft standard differs from the IEC standard in that the frequency range is broader - - 10 kHz to 400 MHz instead of IEC's 150 kHz to 80 MHz (optionally 230MHz). The Model 75A400 meets the aircraft standards and is also ideal for antenna and component testing.

This self-contained, air-cooled, solid state amplifier unit has a rated power output of 75 watts. Utilization of push-pull MOSFET circuitry lowers distortion, improves stability and allows operation into any load impedance without damage.

Designed for laboratory applications where instantaneous bandwidth, high gain and moderate power output are needed, the Model 75A400 represents AR's commitment to developing products for its customers unique application needs.

Like all AR products, the 75A400 is backed by AR's world-class Mark of Performance, which includes a global support & service network and the strongest guarantee in the industry. Every AR amplifier (with the exception of tubes is backed by a full 3-year warranty.)

The unit is serviced by Amplifier Research in its Souderton, PA plant. The price is $11,000.
