New Braze Paste Developed for Furnace Brazing Steel
Willoughby, Ohio —Â A new brazing paste, developed by Fusion Incorporated, is now available for firms involved in joining carbon steel parts. The paste, named EFK, is paired with copper filler metals and can be dispensed through automatic applicators and hand held squeeze bottles.
EFK is designed for use in the brazing of carbon steel parts in exothermic and endothermic controlled atmosphere furnaces. Characteristics include no hot or cold slump. The paste will not spatter and leaves minimal residue under a broad range of part cleanliness and atmosphere conditions. It will adhere to part surfaces even after application and drying for 2-4 hours.
