Jasper for MySQLv3.5 includes new integrated database analysis and SaaS-enabling functionality
SANTA CLARA, Calif. April 21 / / - MySQL Conference & Expo 2009 - Jaspersoft, provider of the world's most widely used business intelligence (BI) software, today announced the general availability of Jasper for MySQL(TM) v3.5. The solution is being demonstrated this week at the MySQL Conference & Expo in Jaspersoft's booth #300.
Jasper for MySQL is a high-performance interactive report server optimized for MySQL. The new Jasper for MySQL v3.5 incorporates all of the features and functions in Jaspersoft v3.5, which brings to market new, integrated analysis capabilities as well as the industry's first software-as-a-service-enabling (SaaS) BI platform. The new Jasper for MySQL v3.5 is specifically certified and packaged for Sun Microsystems' MySQL database and is available through MySQL's OEM channel.

Jaspersoft v3.5 also eliminates the need for MySQL's OEM customers to "roll their own" BI functionality into solutions that require analysis and reporting.
