LaMar Lighting Introduces VO-LED Series Of Motion Sensor Controlled Bi-Level Lighting
New Occu-smart® Luminaire Features Four Standby Light Levels for Maximum Flexibility
Farmingdale, NY – LaMar Lighting Company introduces VO-LED Series to its occu-smart® line of bi-level lighting. Controlled by ultra-sonic motion sensors triggering the light levels from low to high upon occupancy, VO-LED luminaires are ideal for spaces where intermittent use allows for conserving energy.
Building owners and managers can adjust VO-LED’s standby light levels to 5%, 10%, 20% or 30% of the full output, with standby wattage as low as 4 watts and set the time delay feature to 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes. This flexibility allows VO-LEDs to accommodate a variety of applications – from hallways and staircases to restrooms and storage rooms – and their individual lighting needs.
VO-LED fixtures are rated for over 50,000 hours and offer long, economical operation. The units are equipped with universal voltage drivers and high-quality LED light engines from leading manufacturers. Customers can select from 3,000K, 4,000K and 5,000K color options. Â
Manufactured with high-quality code gauge steel, luminaires are available in two- and four-foot lengths and can be ceiling or wall-mounted. The acrylic diffuser is custom extruded to maximize efficiency while effectively diffusing the LEDs. Die-formed and powder-coated captive end caps secure the diffuser and are available with tamper-resistant screws.
All occu-smart fixtures are UL-listed and, when equipped with an optional emergency battery backup, qualify as emergency lighting and power equipment per UL 924. All fixtures are made by members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) union.
