Better Things Brings Their Latest Clean Water Design to Rural Kenya

Better Things LLC, a designer, and manufacturer of water filtration solutions recently completed the installation of a system in rural Kenya with a filtering capacity of approximately 21,000 gallons of water an hour.

Mike Watkins, the system designer and founder of Better Things, commented “We are thrilled to partner with World Vision and Business Connect on this pilot project to bring clean water to the people of Homa Bay County, Kenya. Our simple and effective BlackBox Series systems will reduce if not eliminate the use of expensive chemical treatment solutions.

Watkins adds, “With the use of our the BlackBox Ultra Volume (BBUV) system, which automatically maintains itself, people in this region will be able to enjoy clean, safe water with minimal maintenance or cost for years to come. Clean, safe drinking water is a fundamental human right and we are honored to be part of the team extending that right to a thirsty world.”

The BBUV product is the newest and largest filtration solution offered by Better Things LLC designed with the unique ability to connect multiple systems in parallel so the system can scale to meet the need.  Read the whole story including lessons learned and next steps at https://betterthings.llc/blog/2020/05/21/the-bbuv-in-kenya/.
