Benco Dental Inks VAR Agreement with Barco to Distribute Its Medical Grade Displays to Dental Industry

Duluth, Ga., USA - Medical imaging pioneer Barco is expanding its reach into the dental practice market via a new partnership with Benco Dental, the largest privately-owned dental distributor in the United States.
Opening access to more than 30,000 Benco customers in all 50 states, the new agreement represents the first distributor deal for Barco in the U.S. dental office arena. The primary marketing opportunity entails the bundling of Barco's MDRC Series display into Benco's Platinum technology package, the company's top-of-the-line imaging solution. The MDRC displays are also sold in conjunction with Benco's premium line of X-ray equipment or as a stand-alone purchase.

Barco's MDRC clinical review displays offer DICOM-compliant viewing of clinical data and images, featuring higher contrast, more accurate colors and a wider viewing angle than conventional monitors. Meeting all medical and patient safety standards, MDRC displays are continuously calibrated with Barco's MediCal QAWeb to ensure 24/7 DICOM accuracy and uptime.
