DiagnoSYS launch ScanPoint DT a new bench top AOI!


DiagnoSYS introduce a new bench top AOI to compliment the world renowned ScanPoint 50 Inline AOI system. Boasting all of the features of the inline system by utilising the proven TestVue32 software platform, this powerful combination ensures ease of use and rapid program deployment.

Detecting manufacturing defects such as positional, missing, skewed, misplaced, incorrect device, incorrect polarity, solder and lead defects is fast and reliable. Unique dual lighting delivers the capability of inspecting laser marks on IC's and SOT devices. An additional benefit is that it also delivers enhanced inspection of 0603 and 0402 devices.

The ScanPoint DT system is the most flexible bench top AOI system available and is an ideal introduction to AOI but equally at home in first article through to volume production. Both ScanPoint 50 and ScanPoint DT AOI have DiagnoSYS' Vu-Point software included! Vu-Point software, an image comparison tool, is a perfect solution for inspecting low volume assemblies without the need for programming.

TestVue32 will import CAD or Pick and Place data ensuring that board programs are created quickly and easily. Furthermore, the dynamic libraries feature means that package and part number details can always be recalled, whichever board the device is fitted to.
