Original Press Release:

Battery Operated Kerosene Pump

This battery operated pump uses mechanical, auger type action to move liquids and slurries up to 1.8 gallons per minute. This mechanical action is categorized as positive displacement. Positive displacement pumps capture and release discrete amounts that flow into a chamber and then force it out. The auger pump uses an impeller to draw the flow in, add energy to the flow, move it through a volute (a spiral funnel through which the flow moves), and then into the system. Use this battery operated auger pump in the field or plant where no electricity is available. The suction tube is 14.8 inches with a discharge tube 23.8 inches. Two “D” batteries will deliver up to 396 gallons.
