Electronic BDI (Battery Discharge Indicator) From ENM
ENM Company introduces Series PT28, a complete solid-state BATTERY DISCHARGE INDICATOR. This 10-bar LED indicator displays THE STATE OF CHARGE ON ANY BATTERY. Typical applications include all types of electric-powered vehicles.
PT28 is a high reliability, compact and low-cost component, available for several voltages and capable of operating in a wide temperature range, -10°C to +65°C (-22°F to +150°F).
These BDI's operate on a 12, 24, 36 or 48 VDC supply and run at a 30 mA nominal current, with accuracy to +/- 0.01%.
Mounting style choices of a round SAE bezel with push-on retaining ring or rectangular screw-mounting flange are offered as standard with or without key terminal activation.
The right-side LED is lit when the battery is properly charged and, as the charge decreases, the successive LED's illuminate in sequence. The leftmost two LED's flash to indicate empty (80% depth of charge).
