ConnectCode Pte Ltd is pleased to announce a new barcode font package that supports OpenType fonts, which can be used in both Windows and Mac operating systems.
A barcode font is a specially designed font that allows you to specify and generate barcodes on normal text characters. Using it is as simple as installing the font, loading up a text editor and entering the text for the barcodes.
The versatility of a barcode font makes it easy to enable barcodes in office suites and many third party applications that support text display by just a simple installation of the fonts.
Using barcode font is also a popular way for integrating barcodes with existing projects in an enterprise since it does not depend heavily on the programming environment and does not require intensive graphics operations . Instead, some manipulation of existing text is sufficent to produce scannable barcodes.
