Durham Introduces Series of Newly Designed Bar Cradle Trucks for Efficient Storage and Movement of Heavy Pipe, Tubing and Bar Stock
A newly designed series of bar cradle trucks now offering 25% more cradle space, with 4,000 and 10,000 lb. weight capacities, for the efficient storage and movement of heavy pipe, tubing and bar stock has been introduced by The Durham Manufacturing Company, Durham, CT 06422.
Eight models are being offered with lengths ranging from 5 feet to 12 feet. All models are 28 inches wide. The number of cradles; 3, 4 or 5, is determined by the length. All are elevated to accommodate forklift loading. The series is distinguished by its heavy duty, all welded steel construction. Models rated at 4,000 lbs. have 3 inch C channel frames with 10 inch by 2 1/2 inch center phenolic load wheels and two 6 inch by 2 inch phenolic bolt-on swivel casters. Ten thousand lb. rated models have 4 inch C channel frames, 12 inch by 3 1/2 inch load wheels and 8 inch by 2 1/2 inch phenolic bolt-on swivel casters. Finish is durable gray powder coat. Shipment is made in fully assembled condition, ready for use.
