Clausing Introduces new Kalamazoo Model KCA2AX 12" Automatic Horizontal Bandsaw
The new Clausing Kalamazoo Model KC12AX 12" Automatic Bandsaw is designed for rugged production use, offering high output and reliable performance in both semi-automatic and fully automatic operation. The saw features infinitely variable blade speeds from 75-400 fpm, LED blade speed readout, blade breakage/stop switch, automatic height setting, hydraulic downfeed, auto shutoff at end of material or after preset number of cuts, front-mounted digital length gauge, and a vise that clamps the workpiece on both sides of the blade.
The Model KC12AX Saw is equipped with a 5 hp 230/460V 3 ph drive motor, a recirculating coolant system and a hydraulic shuttle feed system offering up to nine indexes. An optional hydraulic bundling attachment is available to makes multiple cuts easy. Cutting capacity at 90° is 11.8" round, 11.8" x 12.6" to 7.9" x 14.2" rectangular; bundle cutting widths are 6.5" to 10", bundle cutting heights are from 2" to 8".
