Enhancing its exclusive line of SmartMate® ballasts for compact fluorescent lamps, Advance Transformer Company, Rosemont, Illinois, announces the availability of new programmed start ballasts to drive two 57 or 70-watt 4-compact fluorescent lamps, respectively.
Previously available in only one-lamp versions, Advance's new "SmartMate for 57/70 Watt" ballasts now support two 57 or 70-watt compact fluorescent lamps and are ideal for retail, industrial, and outdoor settings as well as high bay applications. Benefits include programmed start lamp ignition for extended lamp life in frequent switching applications, a 90°C maximum case temperature rating allowing flexible fixture design and application versatility, and superior energy efficiency.
