Emerson Power Transmission has Announced the Introduction of a New Sealmaster Brand Line of Reduced Maintenance Bearings
Emerson Power Transmission, Ithaca, New York, has introduced a new line of SealMaster brand bearings designed to improve plant productivity and reduce maintenance expenditures.
This new line features the SealMaster Tapered Lands bearing race design. This patented design insures lubricant is easily directed to the raceway. Improved lubricant circulation provides significantly longer bearing service life. During patent testing the Tapered Lands bearing achieved twice the life of bearings with conventional land geometry.
The reduced maintenance bearings are filled with SealMaster GoldPlex-HP grease. GoldPlex-HP is designed specifically to allow mounted bearings to run cooler and longer.
Available in shaft sizes 5/8" to 2 7/16", the new bearing line is available with three types of sealing solutions.
