Argentum announces an important, principal innovation: full and native support for strong AES 128-bit and 256-bit symmetric encryption technology, which is fully compatible with the latest WinZip 9 AES extensions to the Zip file format.
WinZip 9, a world-famous Zip utility, has recently raised the security and privacy of Zip files to a new level. New AES 128-bit and 256-bit strong encryption methods provide significantly greater cryptographic security than the traditional Zip encryption methods used in earlier versions of Argentum Backup and WinZip.
