DuraStar features a unique design that includes amber colored LED lights that are precisely angled-up to light the waterline (meniscus) from underneath. The result is a "starburst" effect to the operator - the boiler water level is at the starburst. This makes the task of reading the gage fast, easy and safe.
With the superior visibility DuraStar provides, it's an ideal choice for applications where mounting very high or in dark / dreary places is required. The DuraStar is also field-upgradable to any existing Reliance level gage - eliminating exposure for bulb changes every 3-4 months.
