Knoxville, TN - EZ-1131(TM) automation software is now available for TECLA(TM) programmable data processors. It is a complete IEC-61131-3 compliant development environment and run-time engine developed specifically for TECLA processors and communicates directly with Allen-Bradley® Compact, Flex, Flex Ex and Integra I/O, as well as TECLA's embedded I/O. This software operates with the TECLA processor's Microsoft® Windows® CE.NET operating system to facilitate communications with existing corporate infrastructures.
This new software is ideal for machine control, data acquisition, and management information applications. EZ-1131 delivers a distributed node architecture that enables remote programming, monitoring and maintenance. Over a TCP/IP network, logic can be remotely uploaded or downloaded and fault status, scan rates and running tasks monitored. With proper access, tasks can be started or stopped and faults cleared. It can also watch/force real-time tag values and monitor program execution with logic highlighting.
EZ-1131 software features reusable program objects including DLL's created in "C" to speed the development process. Standard objects include: Relay Ladder Logic that includes a comprehensive set of logic elements organized in a "palette" for ease-of-use. Structured Text to simplify coding of complex math calculations and for writing custom function blocks. Sequential Function Chart to streamline the development of sequential operations and to organize and monitor complex applications. Function Block Diagram to enable the creation of custom function blocks quickly and easily. Instruction List for discrete applications to resemble computer assembly language with Load/Store and Boolean-type functionality.
This EZ-1131 software package includes the following applications: EZ RTE software that is an execution engine that runs on the TECLA processor under Microsoft® Windows® CE.Net Operating System. EZ Studio workstation software that provides IEC-61131-3 compliant editors and debugging tools. EZ Manager software to enable multi-node management and monitoring. EZ Monitor software provides a separate program to watch node status running on all popular Microsoft® Operating Systems.
