Centrify DirectControl for Applications Integrated with SAP® Solutions Provides Secure Authentication for Users of Client-Server Solutions and Web Browsers

SUNNYVALE, Calif. - Centrify Corporation, a leading provider of security and compliance solutions that centrally control, secure and audit access to cross-platform systems, mobile devices and applications, today announced that its Centrify DirectControl for Applications version 4.4.3 has achieved SAP certification for integration with the SAP NetWeaver® 7.0 technology platform. Centrify DirectControl for Applications provides enhanced, secure, centralized authentication for users of client-server and Web browser solutions.

The SAP Integration and Certification Center (SAP ICC) has certified that Centrify DirectControl for Applications 4.4.3 integrates with the SAP NetWeaver Application Server (SAP NetWeaver AS) component of SAP NetWeaver 7.0 via the secure network communications (BC-SNC) 4.0 integration scenario, delivering secure authentication and single sign on for users of client-server solutions. In addition, the SAP ICC has certified that Centrify DirectControl for Applications 4.4.3 integrates with SAP NetWeaver 7.0 via the external user authentication JAAS (BC-AUTH-JAAS) 6.40 integration scenario, providing authentication and single sign on for users of Web browser solutions. Centrify also provides integrated authentication and access control for systems administrators for running solutions on UNIX and Linux.

"SAP certification is extremely important to users, and we are pleased to continue our long-standing track record of successful testing and certifications of interoperability with SAP NetWeaver," said Corey Williams, Centrify director of Product Management. "With this certification, Centrify DirectControl for Applications integrates with SAP NetWeaver to deliver secure authentication and centralized access management for SAP solutions running on SAP NetWeaver. Because DirectControl for Applications is sold as an add-on to any edition of the Centrify Suite for UNIX and Linux or Centrify Express, customers additionally benefit from integrated identity and access control for administrators of the UNIX or Linux system running SAP NetWeaver. This combination is of great value for customers."

Centrify Suite 2012 for UNIX or Linux centralizes authentication and privileged user access across disparate systems and applications by extending Active Directory-based authentication and single sign-on, and by enabling use of Windows Group Policy among other capabilities. As a result of the DirectControl for Applications interoperability certifications and integration with the Centrify Suite, users benefit from DirectControl's non-intrusive and centralized approach to identity and access management, resulting in stronger security, improved compliance, and reduced operational costs.

With DirectControl for UNIX and Linux, enterprises easily migrate and manage complex UNIX-based environments, rapidly consolidate identities into the directory, organize granular access, and simplify administration. DirectControl, through Centrify's patented Zone technology, allows organizations to easily establish global UNIX identities, centrally manage exceptions on legacy systems, and delegate administration. It is an integrated component of Centrify Suite 2012, Centrify's security and compliance solution for controlling, securing and auditing access to cross-platform systems and applications using Active Directory.
