ASTi Telestra 4 Products Achieve DIACAP ATO

Advanced Simulation Technology, Inc. (ASTi, Herndon, VA), recently announced that their Telestra 4 product line achieved an Authority To Operate (ATO) accreditation in compliance with the Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP). ASTi Telestra 4 products were evaluated under the auspices of the U.S. Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI), and were found to be in full compliance with the rigorous DIACAP standards.

The ATO stipulates that the Telestra 4 product line has been assigned a Mission Assurance Category II (MAC II) rating, which according to DIACAP is only given to systems that are necessary to process "information that is important to the support of deployed and contingency forces". The ATO also states that the associated ASTi systems are authorized to operate on U.S. Army Classified Secret networks.

Achievement of the ATO further demonstrates ASTi's longterm commitment to developing and maintaining the rich set of security and Information Assurance (IA) product features that are necessary to safeguard sensitive and classified information critical to the warfighter's mission.
