Aruba Networks Wins Best of Interop 2007 Award for Secure Enterprise Mesh Technology

SUNNYVALE, Calif., May 23 - Aruba Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ:ARUN), a global leader in secure mobility solutions, today announced that Interop Las Vegas 2007 selected the Aruba Secure Enterprise Mesh technology as the show's best wireless and mobility product. The category in which Aruba was awarded top honors encompasses products and services that reliably deliver information wherever, and to whomever, it is needed. Aruba's Secure Enterprise Mesh technology sends information from location to location over a completely wireless network - no new network cabling is required - and is designed for business-critical applications in which highly reliable communications and client-to-core security are important. The wireless mesh can self-organize, determine the optimal path for communication to any given client, and self-heal in the event that a wireless path is blocked or a mesh access point fails.

"Aruba is focused on building user-centric networks in which networks follow the users, and security follows the networks, everywhere and anywhere," said Keerti Melkote, Aruba's founder and head of products and partnerships. "Secure Enterprise Mesh technology is a powerful tool that allows integrators to situate, and move, mesh access points wherever they are needed to provide wireless LAN coverage. Installation scenarios that were challenges in the past - school trailers, sports stadiums, campus residence halls, disaster sites, facilities with hazardous materials - can now be networked without adding any new networking cables. We believe this technology is a major technical achievement, and we're very pleased that the category judges agreed."

"Year after year, the Best of Interop Awards makes a significant contribution to Interop's goal of driving the adoption of technology by presenting the latest advancements in business technology," said Lenny Heymann, Interop General Manager. "We congratulate Aruba Networks as the winner of the Wireless and Mobility category in the 2007 Best of Interop Awards, and thank them for their ongoing contributions to the industry."

Interop Las Vegas spotlights thought leadership and interoperability across the IT industry, and provides a forum for demonstrating and discussing the latest new wave of technologies. Held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center from May 20-25, the event includes both a conference and exposition of the newest IT gear.
