New 14-Ounce LENOX® Anti-Spatter Spray Solves Common Welding Frustrations

Advanced Spray Container Allows For Upside-Down Spraying, Easy Use With Gloves and No Wasted Fluid

EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass., July 27, 2004 - LENOX, a leading manufacturer of premium power tool accessories, hand tools and band saw blades, today introduces its new Anti-Spatter spray, available in an advanced, more convenient 14-ounce spray container that allows for easier use and no waste, allowing for fast, safe clean up of welding spatter.

Unlike anti-spatters that use propellants to disperse the product, the new advanced 14-ounce LENOX Anti-Spatter spray container uses compressed air, allowing it to be sprayed upside-down and ensuring that all the fluid gets dispersed. The nozzle's large trigger makes it easy to use and hold with gloves.

A fine mist nozzle distributes the product evenly, creating a light protective film on any metal that makes cleanup fast and easy by preventing weld spatter adherence on the work piece, welding torch, jig, nozzle and tools.

The environmentally friendly, noncombustible and nontoxic spray is safe to use and contains no silicone or other additives that can complicate painting, priming or galvanizing. The spray also adds the benefit of rust prevention and is biodegradable and virtually odor free.

"The new 14-ounce LENOX Anti-Spatter spray is a result of the way LENOX diligently examines the challenges faced by industry professionals and devotes a great deal of time and energy into solving them," said Tom Kelly, director of marketing, LENOX.

"It solves the frustrations many welders have of not being able to spray their anti-spatter under the work piece or use it easily with gloves, and it provides maximum value by using compressed air delivery to ensure they get the use of every last drop."

The new LENOX Anti Spatter is available in the following sizes and quantities at plumbing and welding supply houses and national dealers and distributors:

· 14-ounce trigger spray, 12 per case

· 32-ounce trigger spray, 12 per case
