Half-High Version of LRP2000-26 Hits the Market

Escort Memory Systems would like to announce the release of the LRP2000-23 Mini. Based on the model of it's larger brother the LRP2000-26, this compact long range antenna offers four feet of read range when communicating with EMS' LRP-L90140S tags. This reader/writer operates at the internationally recognized frequency standard of 13.56 MHz. As with the LRP2000-26, the Mini communicates to tags using Phillips I-CODE SLI (ISO15693) chip, which offers 112 bytes of memory.

The compact design and rugged construction of this antenna give it endless application possibilities. When 2 of these antennas are set up as a gate configuration tags can be read through a seven-foot isle at a height up to four feet. This antenna can also be mounted alongside a conveyer, to read multiple tags passing by on totes, pallets or product.

This is a perfect solution for an application where product or cases are being moved around a warehouse on a cart or hand truck. For one demonstration at a recent tradeshow, a simple pushcart was loaded up with cases of water, with tags attached at various orientations to the cases. Simply pushing the cart by
the antenna at a moderate speed was enough to get a 100% read rate reading 20 tags.

The LRP2000-23 Mini from EMS can help increase visibility in your warehouse or manufacturing facility. For more information about this new product contact us at 831.438.7000 x269 or by emailing to info@ems-rfid.com.
