Makita's New 12 Inch Angle Cutter Delivers More Efficient Cutting
September 9, 2003 - LA MIRADA, CA - Makita USA, Inc., manufacturer of high quality industrial power tools and accessories, has introduced their newest 12" Angle Cutter, the 4112H. For superior versatility, the tool base can be removed for cutting closer to walls while the guide wheels on the tool guard ensure smooth traveling of tool over the surface material. The tool base has both front and rear cutting guides for increased accuracy.
For added convenience and efficiency, the position of the tool body can be adjusted (0° - 80°) and operates independently of the cutting depth. This is a critical enhancement and unique to Makita. Another element unique to the 4112H is Makita's exclusive Super Joint System (SJS) that minimizes kickback by disengaging the gears from the motor if binding occurs. This new angle cutter boasts a powerful 15 AMP motor at 5,000 RPM to take on the most demanding jobs.
The 4112H has a built-in vacuum attachment port for efficient removal of dust and debris. Other user-friendly features include a rubberized wrap-around handle for increased control and reduced operator fatigue and a lock-on button for continuous operation. A rubber shield helps keep debris away from the operator and from entering the motor.
