Analyzer measures two gases simultaneously.

Press Release Summary:

Dual-Gas Optical Analyzer provides concurrent and separate measurements, and can make permanent record of each gas value using computers, plotters, or printers. Self-correcting circuitry allows analyzer to work for years without requiring adjustment or recalibration. Unit immediately warns of any internal troubles and automatically indicates problem. It withstands toxic and corrosive atmospheres as well as temperature and humidity extremes.

Analyzer Measures Two Gases Simultaneously

A new dual-gas optical analyzer that simultaneously measures and monitors two gases has been introduced by Sensor Electronics of Minneapolis.

The gas family spectrum covers some 70 hydrocarbons - ethanol, xylene, acetone and jet fuel, for example - as well as carbon dioxide and water vapor.

The analyzer can, say, give an on-going readout of the percentage of water vapor in butane or methane, or the proportion of C02 in a propane pipeline. Measurements are made concurrently and separately to give a continuing overview of both gases.

Along with driving meters or display panels, the analyzer can make a permanent record of each gas value using computers, plotters or printers.

Sophisticated self-correcting circuitry means this dual-gas analyzer will work for years without requiring fussy adjustment or delicate recalibration. Moreover, the analyzer even keeps a watchful eye on itself, immediately warning of any internal troubles, automatically spelling out what's wrong where.

The analyzer shrugs off toxic and corrosive atmospheres as well as temperature and humidity extremes. It uses no trouble-prone mirrors or lenses, eliminating problems with dust, dirt, aerosols, airborne contaminants or misalignment.

Additional information about this new dual-gas analyzer is available from Sensor Electronics, 5500 Lincoln Drive, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55436.
