Compact Dimensions, Remote Head Make Toshiba Teli Camera Easy to Integrate into Machine Vision Systems
IRVINE, CA, February 22, 2006 - Toshiba Teli America, Inc. today announced the availability of the CS8311Bi monochrome analog camera featuring compact dimensions and a remote head design that frees the OEM designer from space restriction problems when integrating it into machine vision systems.
The CS8311Bi camera head measures 44mm(W) x 29mm(H) x 32.5mm(D) and weighs 70g, while its Camera Control Unit is 44(W) x 29(H) x 64(D) and weighs 90g. Its C-mount lens fitting provides compatibility with a broad selection of readily available and specialized optical systems, making the camera well suited for quality control, factory automation, image processing, microscopy and a nearly unlimited range of other applications.
The CS8311Bi is built around a powerful 2/3-inch CCD sensor that produces detailed, 768 x 494 resolution images (570 TV Lines) with less interference. It features an electronic shutter and asynchronous reset, making the CS8311Bi very effective in applications where the acquisition of fast-moving objects is necessary.
Other smart features of the CS8311Bi include RS170 timing, automatic gain control, restart/reset and random trigger shutter.
