(NASDAQ: ASYS), a global supplier of production and automation systems and related supplies for the manufacture of solar cells, semiconductors, and sapphire and silicon wafers, today announced its solar subsidiary, Tempress Systems, has received an order for its solar boron diffusion system from a leading Taiwan cell manufacturer, which makes it the third boron diffusion customer in that country. The system will be used in an n-type, next generation high efficiency cell production line.
